The Bagua A key concept in basic Feng Shui is the 3-Door Bagua, or "map" of your home. The Bagua divides space into 9 basic areas as designated on this grid:
Kan Line: Place your front door or room door on this line ... Then arrange your rooms (or room) according to the grid. You can generalize the areas by assuming the far left area from the entrance is the wealth area - or the wall directly across from the door is the fame / recognition area, etc. If your house is an irregular shape, consult your bookstore, or email us a diagram and we'll try to help! Most houses are squares or rectangles, but sometimes they will have an extension or "L", or sometimes an "area" is missing from the grid. No Problem. You can complete that "area" with outdoor plantings or internal mirrors.
